Cutlery
Q: How do I take care of Victorinox cutlery products - can they be put into the dishwasher?
A: We do not recommend that the knives go into the dishwasher. The heat and the agitation are harmful to fine knives and can scratch the inside of your dishwasher. Rosewood handled knives are all natural products. They should be washed, wiped and dried after each use. They will weather naturally over time.
Q: What is the warranty for the cutlery?
A: Victorinox cutlery products carry a lifetime guarantee against manufacturer's defects. Should your product be damaged or need repair, please send it via registered mail to the address below. We will examine the condition of the product, acknowledge receipt and advise you of our repair or replacement policy.

Timepieces
Q: How do I know if I have a real Victorinox Swiss Army Brand Timepiece?
A: Only an authentic Victorinox Swiss Army Timepiece has the words "Victorinox Swiss Army" or "Swiss Army" printed right on the dial.
Q: What is the warranty of Victorinox Swiss Army timepiece?
A: All Victorinox Swiss Army timepieces provide 3-year warranty.
Q: How do I know when the battery needs changing?
A: In selected models, the battery end-of-life indicator signals that the battery should be replaced within two or three days. When the battery is low, the second hand stands still for 2-4 seconds, then speeds up to the correct time. This indication will last for approximately one week; then the timepiece hands will stand still.
Q: How do I change the battery?
A: Please bring it to our Customer Service Center.
Q: Where can I get my timepiece repaired?
A: Please visit our Customer Service Center for assessment and repair.
Q: My timepiece says it is water resistant to 330 feet (100 meters). Why is it ok for swimming and not for diving?
A: Most models are rated to withstand water pressure up to 330 feet or 100 meters (there are some exceptions). In contrast to the term "waterproof," water resistance is not a permanent condition; it must be maintained. The crown must be fully recessed and parts such as the crystal, case, and push buttons must remain intact for the timepiece to stay water-resistant.
