[TW]Taipei Brand Store Opening

Victorinox Hotel Royal Taipei Brand Store held its Grand Opening Event on 18th December, 2009. This is the first Victorinox store in Taiwan which uses the new store concept.

The opening event started off with the performance by famous celebrity Mr. Chen Hon Dien, who impersonated the famous TV charatcter of MacGyver, followed by the ribbon-cutting ceremony which was officiated by Mr. Jost Feer, Switzerland representative in Taiwan, Mr. Kenneth Tang, CEO of Victorinox Greater China and Mr. Chen. Then our latest collections of Swiss Army Knife, timepieces, and travel gear were presented by models and Mr. Chen.

[TW] New Brand Store

A new Victorinox brand store is opened on 12th October, 2009 on the ground floor of Hotel Royal Taipei.                                                                                           

The design of this store is based on the Victorinox flagship store in London. The store houses the latest products of Swiss Army Knives, cutlery, travel gear and timepieces. Please come and visit our shop and experience the 125 years of history of Victorinox.

[TW] Travelling exhibition

“125 Years – Your companion for life” traveling exhibition finished the 2-week journey in Taiwan. The exhibition was kicked off at Kaohsiung Dream Mall and ended in Taipei Sogo Department Store successfully.  The exhibition showcased all product categories under the brand including famous Swiss Army knife, cutlery, travel gear, timepieces, frangrance and fashion. Swiss Army knife assembling session was set up to demonstrate the secret of knife making process at Dream Mall.

The Swiss Army knife design competition in Taiwan was successfully held and finished.  There were more than 300 entries received and many of which are outstanding designs. Winners were selected and prize presentation was held on 18th July during Sogo roadshow in Taipei.
Winners are :

1st runner up: 黃俞寧
2nd runner up: 廖儀儒

[TW] Knife Design Competition

125 Years - Your Companion for Life. Over 125 years, the multi-functional and high quality Victorinox Swiss Army knife has become an inevitable part of peoples` lives.  To celebrate the 125th anniversary of Victorinox, Victorinox Taiwan has organized a Swiss Army Knife Handle Design Competition.

The design theme for this competition is Your Companion for Life.  Design works will be reviewed and winners be selected by a judge panel which consists of design expert and Victorinox executives.  The winning design will be sent to Victorinox`s headquarters in Switzerland for printing on the knife handle and assembled onto a Swiss Army Knife.
